History

The Grander is the Ultimate in Big Game Fishing. Anglers will spend a lifetime trying to catch a fish over the magical 1,000 lbs. mark, but only the truly dedicated will achieve their goals.

The World Grander Club was established to recognize the Angler, Captain and Crew for this lifetime achievement, for this is truly a Team Effort in order to catch one of these magnificent fish.

We will also be recognizing the Legendary Captains within our Billfish Fraternity that have passed down their knowledge and expertise so that we all may at least have a chance at catching the coveted Grander.

The World Grander Club Trophy on our Home Page will recognize the release or the capture of a Grander (Blue Marlin, Black Marlin or Swordfish) each year. We encourage you to submit your online application for Membership so that we may recognize your accomplishment.
